Dr Erik Grigg of Lincoln bishop University is a Senior Lecturer in History and has been researching the Lincolnshire Home Guard for many years and given engaging talks on the subject all around the county. He has also recently published an article on Women in the Lincolnshire Home Guard.
His talk will tell you what we know about the force, who were the members, how they were armed and how it changed over time.
This special exhibition talk will allow you to see the exhibition Dr Grigg has put together at the museum, and is free for friends of the museum supporters.
