Part of our current project to update the museum has included improvements to the large room we have upstairs. This room is where we host our talks and can be hired out for all sorts of things!
The amazing workers at Lindums have made this possible by taking down the crumbling ceiling, re-plastering it and then giving it a fresh coat of paint. For anyone familiar with the space upstairs, we have also removed the partition wall that was in there, revealing a sink and kitchen area that will be perfect for making tea and coffee for our next talk!

The long term aim for this space is to have the amazing Compton Organ up here, where it can be played while we host tea dances and silent movies. This is an ongoing project that is being undertaken in collaboration with The East Midlands Cinema Organ Association.
If you would like to hire out this room for a meeting, rehearsal or workshop please contact us through this website!
We look forward to opening our doors on Thursday October 2nd.
