TALK – Finding the Lost Manors of Harlaxton
Join us on Thursday 16th April in the Museum at 2pm, with Doug Brown as we discover the Lost Manors of Harlaxton.
In 2024 Harlaxton History Society decided to take on the challenge of organising a community archaeology project in the village to research it’s manorial past. Known now for its extravagant mid 19th Century manor few people were aware that the village had a manorial past going back almost 1000 years. This talk reveals this heritage for the first time
